He is involved in the successful operation of a large number of industries and trading activities which includes Textile, Garments Manufacturing, Banking, International Cargo Handling etc. One of his Textiles companies is listed in the Stock Exchanges of Bangladesh and is a leading brand.
He is the Former President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI). He is also the Former Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA). He was awarded the National Sports Award for his contribution in promoting sports. He is actively associated with several professional, sports, social and non-profit organizations.
Dr. Toufiq M. Seraj is the Founding Managing Director of Sheltech (Pvt.) Ltd. and its associated companies. He is an Engineer and Planner by profession. He obtained his Ph.D. in Civic Design from the University of Liverpool, UK as a commonwealth Scholar. Earlier he completed his Master and Bachelor degree from BUET. He formerly held academic positions at BUET. He has extensive professional experience in Real Estate Development, Construction, Management and Planning Consultancy. He has wide range of publications including several books on Town Planning, Housing and Real Estate.
Besides Real Estate he is also involved in other businesses which include Consultancy, Hospitality Industry, Construction of Industrial Buildings, Manufacturing of Concrete Products and Ceramic Tiles.
He is the former President of Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP). He was the President of Real Estate & Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) for three consecutive terms. He formerly held leadership positions in several professional and social organizations. He is also actively involved in different research and non-profit organizations.
Mr. Tanvir Ahmed has joined Sheltech (Pvt.) Ltd. and its associated companies as Director representing the second generation. He holds a Masters degree from Cardiff University, UK and a Bachelor of Arts degree (with Honors) from Kingston University, UK. He also obtained a Diploma from the London School of Economics (LSE). He specialized in Business Management, Administration and Finance.
As the Director of Sheltech he is responsible for the coordination of Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Development and Information Technology. He is responsible for the operations of Platinum Hospitality by Sheltech. He also oversees the management of other businesses which include stock trading and cargo handling.
Mr. Ahmed is also Director of Envoy and its associated companies which include Textile, Manufacturing and export of RMG etc. He is involved with different professional and social organizations.
Engr. Sk. Bashir Ahmed is a civil engineer. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from BUET. He has extensive experience on power transmission and distribution network as well as on renewable energy systems. Engr. Bashir is the Vice President of the Bangladesh Olympic Association.
Engr. Choudhury Jamal Ashraf is a civil engineer. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from BUET. Engr. Ashraf was a BCS cadre officer in the Housing & Settlement Directorate and has extensive experience in the field of construction, supervision and project management.
